Park Health & Safety
Since leaving University Eric has specialised in Occupational Hygiene developing and implementing occupational health and safety management strategies and programmes. Eric provides advice on occupational health management, particularly the aspects of measuring exposure and designing and implementing control systems. Eric was involved in the development and creation of the Occupational Health Maturity Matrix (OHMM) for the Olympic Park and Crossrail and was involved in the research and creation of Health Impact Frequency Rating (HIFR) on the Olympic Park. He has also delivered Designers Workshops.
As one of the leaders of the Park Health and Village Health teams, the ill health prevention work conducted on the Olympic Park was identified as an effective investment rather than a cost. Eric has also directed the creation of the occupational health management strategy for Crossrail and is currently the lead hygienist on a major Crossrail tunnelling programme addressing strategic work and overseeing the day to day aspects of ill health prevention.
